We work alongside more than 500 referring practices across the South-West. We treat the periodontal problem you refer, keep you informed at every stage, and return your patient to you for continuing general care.
Referral scope
- Periodontal disease
- Gum recession and grafting
- Bone loss and regeneration
- Dental implant placement
- Peri-implantitis
- Stabilisation before implants or orthodontics
- Second opinions
- Supportive periodontal care
Clinical expertise
Specialist-led periodontal and implant care, including microsurgical regeneration, mucogingival grafting and management of peri-implantitis. On-site low-dose 3-D CT scanning. Our protocol for the periodontally susceptible implant patient, developed here over two decades, governs how we plan and maintain implants.
How referral works
-
Submit the secure form
Clinical details and any radiographs. It takes a few minutes, and you receive a confirmation by email.
-
We contact the patient
To arrange an assessment, within two working days. Urgent cases are prioritised.
-
You receive a report
After the assessment, setting out findings and proposed treatment, then updates at each stage of care.
-
The patient returns to you
Once periodontal treatment is complete, with a discharge summary and a shared plan for supportive care.
Communication
We limit our work to what you refer and do not offer general dental treatment. If we notice anything else, we tell you rather than the patient. A clinician is always available to discuss a case by telephone before or after referral.
